ILilly and her mother are traveling across country with all of their belonings in the trailer behind them. California is a long way away from Maryland and Lilly is dreading the long drive trapped in the car with her mom. The further west they travel the Lilly notices that there are so many in the middle of nowheres. This particular night while traveling through one of the middle of nowheres, they stop for gas. Theresa and Lilly run into the old diner next door and what they saw when they walked in stopped them dead in their tracks. Everyone was sitting there as if the two hadn’t walked in and everyone was drinking milk.
