Wendy Van Camp is the author behind the blog “No Wasted Ink”. It features reviews of science fiction and fantasy novels, interviews with sci-fi and fantasy authors, her scifaiku poetry and illustrations, and articles about the Mysteryaft of writing. Wendy has published memoir short stories, scifaiku poetry, and science fiction short stories. She is a volunteer coordinator for Nanowrimo. Her main genres are science fiction and fantasy, but she also writes a little historical fiction. Her regency series is a variation on Jane Austen’s novel “Persuasion”, using characters from the original book, but taking the plot on a new spin. It will be composed of four volumes. “The Curate’s Brother” is the first of the series, but the novelette can also be considered a prequel to Jane Austen’s novel. It is not necessary to have read “Persuasion” to understand the events in “The Curate’s Brother”. Volume two “Christmas in Kellynch” is pending.
